As a company and as individuals, we share the hopes of our neighbors for a better place to live and work. We help realize those hopes by nourishing development and meeting needs. One of the ways we help realize these hopes is through employee involvement and the company's support of it financially. This occurs through Employee Leadership Grants and Employee Matching Gifts.
Employee Leadership Grants
To encourage employees to become volunteer leaders, we offer leadership grants to support and reward the agencies they are involved with. Annually, this program allows employee leaders to request $500 or $1,000 for their nonprofits from the First Tennessee Foundation.
Employee Matching Gifts
We seek to encourage charitable donations by our employees and to focus our corporate contributions on those tax-exempt, nonprofit organizations most important to our employees. Our foundation matches employee gifts of between $50 and $2,000 to eligible organizations at 50 cents on the dollar.
