Our Privacy Promise

    You are receiving this Privacy Notice from FTB Advisors, Inc. and FTB Advisors Insurance Services, Inc. (collectively,“First Tennessee” or “we”) because we provide investment and insurance products and/or services to you. These products and/or services are provided to you in connection with an agreement we have with your financial institution.We value your relationship with us, and we know that respect for your privacy is the very foundation of that relationship. Along with our promise to provide you with quality service, we promise to safeguard the information you share with us. This notice applies to non-public personal information we collect about individuals who obtain products or services from us primarily for personal, family or household purposes, including former customers. We call this information “Customer Information”. This Privacy Notice was last updated April 2013, and replaces any previous notice you may have received about First Tennessee’s privacy policies.

    Customer Information We Collect

    • Income, marital status, driver license and Social Security numbers, investment time horizon and other information from applications, customer profiles or other forms you complete and other oral, written or electronic communications.
    • Account balances and other information about transactions you conduct through First Tennessee or with the mutual fund and insurance companies that provide the products we sell to you.
    • Credit scores or credit history from credit reporting agencies (if you open a margin account) and other information we receive from third parties about you.

    Protecting Customer Information

    We restrict access to Customer Information to those employees who need to know the information. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable laws and regulations to protect Customer Information.

    Maintaining Accurate Information

    We have procedures in place to maintain accurate Customer Information. These procedures include responding to requests to correct inaccurate Customer Information. If you believe our customer records contain incorrect information about you, call or write to us at the telephone number or address listed on your account.

    Disclosure of Information

    We do not share Customer Information with outside companies or with our affiliates to use for their own marketing purposes. Outside companies or affiliates of First Tennessee that provide us services (such as statement printing or mailing) or help us provide you with products or services you request (such as clearing brokerage transactions or issuing annuity contracts) will receive Customer Information to help us provide you with these products and services. We share Customer Information with others as required or permitted by law, such as in response to subpoenas or summonses. We may also provide Customer Information to your financial institution with whom we have a joint marketing agreement.

    Health Information

    We may collect personally identifiable health information, like medical reports, for certain products or services we offer. We do not share personally identifiable health information with anyone except as may be requested or authorized by you or as required in connection with processing a product or service you have requested or as required or permitted by law.

    This Privacy Notice applies to the Customer Information First Tennessee collects to provide the products and services to you. It does not describe the privacy policies or practices of your financial institution or any other financial service provider.
