The ET Developer II will help drive the delivery and support of a portfolio of platforms and solutions that are based upon Microsoft technologies, including custom web applications, services, and Sharepoint. The candidate will have responsibility for:

  • Leading complex solution development
  • Managing system integration
  • Guiding package-based implementation efforts

The role of an ET Developer II on a daily basis requires more than just a strong technical aptitude. Each day, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing consensus and working relationships with resources from other Enterprise Technology teams to ensure coordination and integration. Communication and responsiveness via cross-functional teams and working groups will determine how efficiently the solutions you develop are implemented. You will also need patience and flexibility to deal with unforeseen problems, late night implementations, and shifting priorities. You will spend much of your time connecting your efforts to those of your team so that the final product you deliver offers the organization a seamless solution that meets identified goals for the requesting line of business.

What experience is required?


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Minimum seven years of demonstrated experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with corporate IT operations, major IT programs, systems integration at enterprise and inter-enterprise levels
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of business requirements and the process of translating them into well-engineered and integrated technical solutions
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills, and be customer focused to understand and appropriately respond to customers' business needs
  • Must be able to respond to multiple competing priorities
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and accountability for achieving results
  • Banking/financial services experience a plus

Required technical skills:

  • Software development life cycle, including agile methodologies
  • Use of source control and build, packaging and deployment tools such as Subversion, Web Deploy, Team Foundation Server, Release Manager, MSBuild, PowerShell
  • Interop with VB, Java, third party web services
  • Application Development, demonstrating experience in delivering web applications using ASP.NET 3.5 or greater (MVC a plus)
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and integrating services using WS and REST, WCF / WF 3.5, WCF Data Services, MSMQ
  • Demonstrated experience with development of solutions with ADO.NET Entity Framework 3.5 or greater
  • SQL Server 2005 (or above) development experience is a must, along with experience with other database platforms such as Oracle, DB2
  • Demonstrated experience with Sharepoint 2010 or greater, including custom content types, workflows, features, business connectivity services
