Seeing a need in 2007 to provide a sophisticated level of asset management for its customers, First Tennessee Bank formed First Tennessee Advisory Services, Inc. a registered investment advisor and a wholly-owned subsidiary of First Tennessee National Bank Association. In June 2013, First Tennessee Advisory Services, Inc. combined with its affiliated broker-dealer and was renamed FTB Advisors, Inc. Headquartered in Memphis, FTB Advisors, Inc. has grown its managed asset base to almost $3.6 billion as of 3/31/13.

Since its inception, the firm has operated under the leadership of Chief Investment Officer, Gerald Laurain, and President Karen Kruse. Both Laurain and Kruse bring decades of investment advisory experience to the relationships FTB Advisors maintains with its clients.
