At First Tennessee, we work hard to provide you with the most up-to-date and convenient products and services, which we hope you find of value. Below is a list of fees that are charged for checking account maintenance, services and activity, and ways to minimize or avoid those fees. Please use this chart to find the account and fee structure that best fits your needs. Simply click on the plus sign next to each listing for more detailed information.
Service charge is rebated if you make at least one direct deposit AND have a minimum of 15 debit card transactions (pinned or signature items) per statement cycle
If you do not use the account much, but carry higher balances, Premier Checking may be a better option. Or if you only have Direct Deposit, converting to Express Checking may work better.

No service charge if you have $5,000 minimum combined balances1
If you use direct deposit, do not carry these balances and want to avoid monthly maintenance service charges, you may want to consider converting your account to Select or Express Checking.
No service charge if you have $25,000 minimum combined balances1
If you do not carry these balances and do not want the additional features available with Premier Plus, you may want to consider removing the Plus bundle, or converting your account to Select or Express Checking, as they do not have balance requirements.
If you meet the requirements of any of the other checking accounts listed above, consider switching to a different account to avoid the monthly service charge
No charge when using an ATM card or First Tennessee Visa® Debit card issued by First Tennessee for deposits, cash withdrawals, or most balance inquiries** at First Tennessee ATMs
$2 for each account transaction or balance inquiry at non-First Tennessee ATMs

In order to reduce overdraft fees and make sure your items get paid, consider the Overdraft Protection products outlined below.
$15 once-per-day transfer fee
Connect your checking account to a personal savings account, First Banking Reserve, credit card, or HELOC. There is a $15 once-per-day overdraft transfer fee assessed to your checking account each day one or more transfers is made.
