The more information your First Priority Switching representative has, the easier the switch. Here's what to bring for the best service possible:

  • A driver's license, passport, military ID, or other state-issued photo identification
  • Old bank information – including your account number, routing number and bank address (if known). A voided check will help us locate this information.
  • Direct deposit information – including names of employers, companies or other payers who currently send direct deposits to your account
  • Automatic debit information, such as names of companies that currently make ACH (automatic) withdrawals from your checking account. Please include:
    • Company addresses
    • Exact amount(s) of withdrawals (if known)
    • Date of payment(s) each month
    • Account number with this payee/company
    • Two of your most recent statements from your current checking account

If your automatic debit is processed against a debit card linked to your old checking account, we'll need the debit card number to make the switch.

Keep in mind: you may have already provided some of this information through another company's online site. If you wish us to switch this payer/payee information, we can attempt to send an authorization form by mail. However, if it is required that you use the web site for updates, you'll need to make these changes yourself. Please provide information on any payments you are switching. That way, we can track your account and ensure a successful switch.

Bill Pay Online: If you would like to use Bill Pay Online, you must first enroll in Banking Online. Your Financial Services Representative can assist with this. If you would then like for the First Priority Switch Team to set up your payees, you will be asked to provide this information. (Bill Pay Online is free if you enroll in Monthly Statements Online. Otherwise, there is a $3 per month charge. Banking Online is free for all customers.) If you have Bill Pay Online with another bank, and recurring payments have been established, you will need to stop those payments once the switch is complete.
